Citizen Science

What is citizen science?

Citizen science* is your way to get involved in the discoveries shaping our future! By volunteering in research activities and working hand in hand with scientists, or independently, you help ensure that research reflects and serves the general population.

It increases scientific knowledge, raises general awareness of scientific questions and allows for exchange of enthusiasm, ideas and expertise between scientists and citizens.

Food & You respects the following key principles set out by the European citizen science association
